Helensburgh Tigers tackle 2025 footy season

Helensburgh Tigers rugby league football club will host three much-anticipated home games this Saturday, April 26.

First up, the club's new Under 18’s boys team will face the Taren Point Titans at noon, then Reserve Grade will play Thirroul at 1.30pm.

The Tigerlillies are scheduled to take on the Campbelltown City Kangaroos at 3pm.

Meanwhile, the club’s Open Ladies League Tag team, who made it to the 2024 grand final, continue to impress this year but have a bye this weekend, and the Over 30’s Ladies League Tag side, who played their first comp season in 2024, are due to face Kurnell in an away game at Marton Park at 1.30pm.

Helensburgh star Maddy Campbell said last year, during a Tigers recruitment drive for players, that anyone who plays rugby league has "an incredible opportunity to showcase your strength, skills, and determination.

"The culture of a club can greatly influence the community by fostering inclusivity, teamwork, and support. So become part of Helensburgh Tigers, help contribute to building a sense of unity and pride within the community, creating a space for growth, empowerment, and camaraderie. Learn a new skill and make a new mate.

"Women bring a unique perspective to the game, breaking stereotypes and inspiring others with their passion and resilience on the field."

Tigers' home games are always very popular and the club is encouraging Helensburgh locals to support the club and its sponsors.
