Motorists are advised of changed traffic conditions from this weekend on Memorial Drive at North Wollongong for maintenance work to be carried out.

 Work will be carried out northbound between Porter Street and the M1 Princes Motorway at North Wollongong on Sunday 16 April, between 7.30pm and 5am, weather permitting. 

During the work, the on-ramp from Memorial Drive to the M1 Princes Motorway will be closed. Detours for light and heavy vehicles will be in place via the Princes Highway, Mount Ousley Road and the M1 Princes Motorway, via the Five Islands Road southbound exit ramp and M1 northbound entry ramp.

 Light vehicles can also detour via Porter Street, University Avenue and Irvine Street.

 Work will be carried out northbound on Memorial Drive from the Princes Highway on-ramp for about 500 metres on Monday 17 April, between 7pm and 5am, weather permitting.

During the work the northbound on-ramp from the Princes Highway will be closed and detours will be in place via the Princes Highway and Bellambi Lane.

Changed traffic conditions including lane closures, and a reduced speed limit of 40 km/h will be in place at each location during work hours.
