Construction to begin on new hall at Stanwell Park Public School

Member for Heathcote Lee Evans is pleased to announce the brand-new hall at Stanwell Park Public School has reached a major milestone, with the design and construction contract awarded to Barpa Pty Ltd.

The new hall at Stanwell Park Public School will include a canteen, out of school hours care facilities and storage.

Member for Heathcote Lee Evans said the new hall will be of huge benefit to the school and is set to be used by the students of today and for generations to come.

“I’m proud that the NSW Government is delivering this new hall for Stanwell Park Public School,” Mr Evans said.

“I’m looking forward to construction getting underway and to the benefits the hall will bring students in the area and also the wider community.”

Minister for Education Sarah Mitchell said she was proud to be delivering record investment in school infrastructure across NSW.

“Schools, particularly school halls, are the natural gathering point for students and staff, and they can also be a vital part of a thriving local community.

“This is a really important project for the Stanwell Park Public School community and I’m excited to see progress over the coming months,” Ms Mitchell said.

Construction is scheduled to begin soon, and the hall will be ready for the school to use in 2022.

The NSW Government is investing $7.9 billion over four years, continuing its program to deliver 215 new and upgraded schools to support communities across NSW. This is the largest investment in public education infrastructure in the history of NSW.
