Motorists are advised of changed traffic conditions starting this weekend on the M1 Princes Motorway (Mount Ousley Road) as natural disaster recovery work is carried out.
The left-hand northbound lane will be closed for one-kilometre from the New Mount Pleasant Road intersection to allow crews to carry out repair work.
The lane closure will be in place from this Sunday 23 July, between 7pm and 5am every from Sunday to Thursday for four weeks. Work is expected to be completed on Sunday 20 August 2023, weather permitting
Traffic control, with a reduced speed limit of 40 km/h will be in place for the safety of workers and motorists.
Motorists are advised to drive to the conditions and follow the directions of signs and traffic control.
