AstraZeneca Clinics pop up on Thursday

As cases continue to rise in our region, the Illawarra Shoalhaven Local Health District would like to alert everyone to walk-in AstraZeneca Vaccine Clinics in Berkeley and Bellambi this Thursday.

For the 24 hour period to 8pm, Monday 6 September there were 14 new COVID-19 cases recorded for the Illawarra Shoalhaven Local Health District. Details are as follows:

  • 11 cases who are residents of Wollongong Local Government Area (LGA), four of whom are linked to known cases and seven for whom investigations are ongoing
  • 3 cases who are residents of Shellharbour LGA and for whom investigations are ongoing

ISLHD AstraZeneca Walk-in Clinics

 This Thursday, 9 September the District is holding walk-in AstraZeneca vaccination clinics in Bellambi and Berkeley, in response to recent cases and venues of concern.

These clinics will be offering the AstraZeneca vaccine to people aged 18 and over, with no appointment needed. 

·       Berkeley Community Centre / Neighbourhood Centre, 40 Winnima Way, Berkeley, 9.30am - 3pm 

·       Bellambi Neighbourhood Centre, 49a Cawley Street, Bellambi,  9.30am - 3pm 

Walk-in AstraZeneca vaccinations continue to be available at the Wollongong Mass Vaccination Centre and Shellharbour City Centre Clinic, on selected days:

·       Shellharbour City Centre Clinic, 5-8 Memorial Drive, Shellharbour City Centre. AZ walk-in vaccination between 9.30am and 3pm on Tuesdays and Thursdays

·       Wollongong Mass Vaccination Centre, Crown Street Mall, Wollongong (the old David Jones building) access via Globe Lane. AZ walk-in vaccination between noon and 4pm on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays
