The Sri Venkateswara Temple is celebrating its 4th Re-Consecration Ceremony (called "Maha Kumbabhishekam").
The 5-day event – which takes place every 10 years – will take place from 5 to 10 April 2023.
The last day, 10th April, will be an eventful day with Festivities within the Temple grounds. There will be lots of activities, such as playing of Traditional Music, a Dance by young and elder performers and a procession of decorated Chariots/Vehicles.
The temple also provide Free Sumptuous Lunch between 12 noon and 2.30pm from 7 to 10 April. (This is apart from the Canteen Menu which comes at a cost.)
The 5-day event culminates with a Fireworks Display. Put on by a professional company, the fireworks will take place for 8 to 10 minutes sometime between 6 and 7.30pm.
