On April 7th, Maryanne Stuart MP, the Member for Heathcote, and the Hon. Chris Minns MP, NSW Premier, will be hosting a Small Business Forum to consult with local business owners in the Heathcote electorate.
The event will be held from 6pm – 8pm at the University of Wollongong Sutherland Campus, 1 Pitt St, Loftus NSW 2232.
Special attendees will include prominent academics at the University of Wollongong who specialise in commerce. They will be present to provide unique and specialised insights into the current challenges businesses are facing. They will also be able to provide information as to ways the University can provide support and education for small businesses in the Heathcote Electorate. There will be time dedicated to network and speak with subject matter experts from University of Wollongong.
A representative from the Service NSW Business Bureau, who provide free and personalised business advice, will discuss what government support and resources are available to small businesses. The Hon. Chris Minns MP will be in attendance to speak with, and hear from, business owners and associates within the electorate.
Aimed at facilitating discussion between small businesses and the business sector, the Forum will provide interested parties the opportunity to voice their needs, and for the Minns Labor government to hear directly from small business owners about how to support the sector.
