Now in its fourth year, the highly-anticipated Port Kembla Festival is set to ignite the cultural spirit of Port Kembla with a vibrant mix of music, arts, and entertainment on April 12, 2025, from 2pm. Free to attend with RSVP here, the festival draws thousands of visitors from near and far, transforming the town into a bustling hub of creativity and celebration as people flock to experience its electric atmosphere and diverse performances.
Across 10 venues and unique surprise spaces, the event comes alive with a dynamic mix of indie rock, electronic, soul, and experimental sounds, showcasing Australia's most cutting-edge talent. Attendees can explore the festival’s diverse areas, encountering unexpected music stages, pop-up shows, and immersive light and sound installations. The 2025 line-up brings a spectacular selection of artists, headlined by singer/songwriter Annie Hamilton, Client Liaison's Harvey M, house DJ/producer Milo Eastwood, and punk powerhouse Press Club. Clint (FR), Barely Passable, Freyja Garbett, Jess Locke, Julia Why?, and Grinding Eyes—along with many others—will take over 14 diverse stages. New additions include three extra stages, a closed laneway dance stage, and a Low Sensory Stage at The Panthaway, catering to neurodivergent and introverted guests with gentle live music, yoga, art therapy, and Q&As with Love on the Spectrum stars.
In an exciting debut, NASA Gallery & Studios will showcase creative works, joining an array of stunning light projections and custom soundscapes set to transform Port Kembla for the night. Alongside this highly anticipated experience, other favourites include the World of Food, twilight markets, Wonderwalls Pop-Up Jam, Light Art, Red Point Open Studios & Exhibition, Yakka's Psychedelic Garage, and Yoga Jam, a fusion of live music and guided yoga. The festival champions accessible arts and music while honouring the Dharawal people, traditional custodians of the land. It showcases both First Nations heritage and contemporary creativity.
Founded by boutique event production and booking agency, Holy Pavlova, the festival was created to encourage free exploration of Port Kembla’s many unique and vibrant spaces, achieved by curating an eclectic mix of live music, art, and cultural experiences along Wentworth Street and beyond.
Harrison Hall, founder of Holy Pavlova says: "Port Kembla Festival is about discovering incredible spaces, experiencing groundbreaking artists, and being immersed in light, sound, and culture. In 2025, we’re expanding with more stages, dynamic performances, and unexpected moments that make the festival so special. We can’t wait to welcome everyone back”
