We hope everyone has been enjoying the mix of lovely sunshine and rain to water our gardens.

Our club is forging ahead with preparations for the Country Fair in October. Don’t forget to save the date Saturday, 28 October, starting at 10am with our official opening to get the Fair underway.

Lots of fun and laughter are the order of the day. Entertainment is looking great with dance groups and singers, a petting zoo, carnival rides and our local Rural Fire Service. We’ll also have market stalls for you to enjoy browsing and shopping plus importantly tasty food.

There is still time if you would like to have a stall on the day, go to www.helensburghlions.org.au to get an application. Also make sure to keep up to date on our Facebook page!

As with any volunteer group the number of our members is small and we have a strong belief in making a difference. We continue to do this by giving people the opportunity to contribute to the causes that matter to them as individuals and their community. While we aren’t asking for you to give a large amount of your time we ask if you can come along and see how you can help. It is a reward in itself to help your community.
