Discover the new Northern Illawarra Art Trail

Artists of the Illawarra have powered ahead with the support of Wollongong City Council to create an inaugural “Northern Illawarra Art Trail” (NIAT) on the weekend of November 19 and 20. More than 20 local artists will open their studios so that anyone and everyone can come and see what they do and how they do it.

Our website is up and running at www.niarttrail.com.

A weekend looking at art, meeting local artists in their studios, cruising around our beautiful area – as well as enjoying a bite to eat in one of the wonderful cafes to be found along the trail – will be hard to beat, especially in late spring.

www.niarttrail.com also provides a live map with provides details about the artists and the nature of their work. Every studio has location details as well as our NIAT banner.

Our community of local artists is so excited about this trail of Open Art Studios. We are looking forward to making this a regular community event in spring and autumn. Please check out the website, look out for our banners and logos and plan for a top day. Can’t wait to see as many families as possible join in the fun.
