Did you know that the number one thing you can do to save money on your energy bills also creates local jobs and drastically cuts climate pollution?
You're invited to learn all about this at our free NSW Leads the Charge event, cohosted by Nature Conservation Council NSW and Rewiring Australia.
We’ll learn how electrification can save you money, create jobs, improve health outcomes - and what support we want to see from those in power to help us all electrify. We will hear from key experts:
- Rewiring Australia: non-profit organisation that advocates for households in the energy system, and demonstrates how electrification means reducing carbon emissions, healthier homes, a fairer energy system and lower bills.
- Electrify 2515: creating Australia’s first all-electric suburb.
- Hi Neighbour: making sure local people are included in the renewable jobs of the future.
- Good for the Gong: Illawarra locals who care deeply about climate change, the environment and the future of the community.
- Doctors for the Environment Australia: leading medical voice on health and climate.
- Nature Conservation Council: the state’s leading environmental advocacy organisation.
- Home energy experts from Renew will also be available before and after the speakers’ presentations to help you understand your energy bills better and answer questions.
Please bring your most recent energy bills to get the most out of these free sessions. Please make sure to RSVP to secure your spot and help us ensure there’s enough free food!
